I can’t remember if I mentioned that I finally finished knitting my purse – and now, I’ve even felted it. It looks pretty spiffy, IMHO, but I’m somewhat biased. Heh.
The following photos are of the purse before it was felted. In the next day or two I’ll get around to taking some pictures of the final-final project so you can see what it looks like. I’m really pleased with my first ever knitting project!

(Sexy, no?)

Less interesting, but more purse!

Dana, I love it. I started knitting after reading a few of your post’s, but mine doesn’t look that good.
Keep up the good work. -
Oh yeah, I forgot to metion that if you get bored with the purse coffee can wear it during these SOON to be cold days.

Hey Dana, I used to knit many many many years ago. Actually I haven’t thought about it for a long time, That is until I read your post on knitting. My grandmother taught me how to make slippers but I can’t remember for the life of me how to do it. So I guess I will just work at my “Scarf” until I get a little braver and attempt a sweater or something really cool like that. My only problem is that I have absolutely no patience for ANYTHING, and I can honestly see myself having a complete break dowm when I drop the first stitch. and that will be the end of my knitting career. I guess that’s why I haven’t done anything in so many years. So if you hear a really loud scream, you’ll know I dropped a stitch, or my stitches fell off the end of the needle. I’m such a loser when it comes to anything artistic or craftsy. HA HA HA. Keep up the posts, I love dropping in and reading your blog.

Your too funny. I had a good laugh over that one. If I could leave a laughing face I would, but I don’t know how to. I’m knitting illiterate and computer illiterate. Maybe if we put all of our half done projects together, maybe, just maybe we could have something really spiffy.
