Maymo was watching a recording – from satellite – of one of his favourite preschooler shows (“SuperWhy!“) in which one of the characters sings a funky version of the alphabet.

This funky version is sung in each episode, so Maymo has it DOWN and he loves to burst into song when AlphaPig does.

In this case, however, the satellite was skipping somewhat and stuttering a bit and the song that normally flows quite easily sounded more like a DJ working some scratching into the song.

I was about to explain to May why the song sounded kind of funny when he started hopping up and down in time to the stuttering and made his voice sound all shaky – just like the satellite skipping sound. Then he turned to me with a big grin and said, “I LIKED THAT ONE!”
