In Short.

Life goes on, lately, without much to report.

We get up, Coffee goes to work, I wrangle kids, we eat dinner and then we all go to sleep.

That’s the sum of things around here lately.

Perhaps inspiration will strike? I’ll get back to you on that.

    Tell me, do you get much attention with your hair? I mean, do people stop and talk to you about it when you are out with the kids? There was a girl in SF that really caught our attention; bright bold multiple colors, some dreads and some braids. I wanted to stop her to really get a good look, but I think that would have been a bit rude.

    I do, in fact, get quite a bit of attention with my hair. People often say, “I love your hair!” and then ask a thousand questions about the how/why/when/where stuff. Little kids LOVE it (girls, especially, when it’s pink) and women my age and older often say they’d “love to do that!” so I encourage them. :)

    I don’t find it rude at all, really, unless they’re stopping me to ask why the hell I’d DO something like THAT to myself… and then, well, why would you bother to ask? Clearly the answer is, “BECAUSE *I* LIKE IT!”

    Uh if someone comes up to you and asks you why the hell you’d do something like that, you give them a V8 commercial bop to the forehead and tell them. “So I could do that when you asked.”
