Grace In Small Things – 86/365

  1. It’s s’posed to be 13°C today. Zow! SPRING, I LOVE YOU!
  2. Reading “Life Is A Verb” and being reminded of so many people I love. (It’s a great book.)
  3. That my husband has not bashed me over the head for saying, “AWESOME!” a trillion times each day for the past, oh, month or two. And the hope that he’ll continue to not bash me over the head for a while longer – like, say, ’til I move on to abusing another word/phrase.
  4. CopyPasteCharacter – excellent for lazy people. Like me.
  5. That idea that Sylvain may have, actually, honestly, applied some sort of hex over the freaky balloons that are STILL 100% happy in my living room.

Sylvain, from what parallel universe balloon delivery service did you order these time-defying latex bubbles?

Love the weather! I just hope I remember to break out the hat before the sun turns my head bright red (again).

They are seriously, SERIOUSLY, freaky balloons. They look normal but.. they’re not even remotely starting to get floppy. WTF?

On the flip side, given that a huge part of my balloon fear/hatred stems from the part where they POP!, it’s possible that Sylvain is doing some sort of therapy here.

      Hmmm.

Did you miss my tweet about finding two more chocolate wiener dogs on sale Monday? More ceremonies have occurred.
Those balloons will remain undead for a long time, and then POP without warning. :-)

I think you forgot to tell Violet that the balloons aren’t going to deflate, they’re actually self-inflating very slowly. Once the ambient UV light degrades the latex enough and they’ve inflated enough, one will pop which will cause the rest to pop at the same time. Maybe. :)
