Oldest One noted that he needed new underwear, so we headed off to Zellers. We had stopped at a few other stores in the same plaza, so Coffee decided to put everything we’d already purchased into the car.
Coffee: Go ahead and I’ll meet you in there.
Me: Do you have any idea as to size?
Coffee: It will depend on his shoe size.
Me: Wait.. what??!
[pause]
Me: What? I thought.. wait.. we’re buying UNDERPANTS.
Coffee: Huh? Oh! Right! Yes, probably small or medium.
Me: [uncontrollable laughter] HAHAHAHA.
Coffee: Yeah.
Me: Shoe size! HAHAHAHAHA! Man, I was pretty sure that was just one those urban rumours. HAHAHAHAHA. SHOE SIZE! AHAHAHAHAH!
Coffee: [rolls eyes]
Me: [laughs the whole way into the store and then some]
Oldest One: [grins]

Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! I am so looking forward to that age, when The Mook gets the adult jokes.

He doesn’t get *all* of them, yet, but it’s certainly getting funnier and funnier around here.
I’m still giggling over that one. Heh.
