Physiotherapy today. I have a new exercise (meant to strengthen my shoulder and help eliminate the instability) added to my daily routine! And my approaching-migraine headache is gone. PHEW. I’m even drinking my second big glass of water because, for once, I remembered that drinking water after physio is a good idea.

My friend Tracey – and her phone calls last night AND this morning that made me laugh and made me feel better and reminded me that I’m not the only one going through this whole thing.

My husband – who let me expunge every single detail of every single thing that’s bothering me, offered up some perspective, and who loves me even though I am clearly crazy.

I have not dropped out of school. I am still attending every class and doing my very best.

Stopping at the Thai store around the corner to pick up more rice paper “just in case” – and then taking the time to browse all the shelves and poke around a little.

I did terribly on my test this morning – but it’s only worth 6% of my final mark (as opposed to all the other tests this week which are worth 20%, each, of my final mark). As well, the majority of my classmates did terribly, too.

I bit my tongue when I wanted to scream earlier today.

I like a good number of my classmates. Some of them are hilarious, some very kind, some super-smart..

My husband, who coughed for much of the night, is still apparently healthy. This is very good.

Remembering to breathe and stretch throughout the day makes a huge difference.

No word of a lie: I finished 60 questions on a Developmental Psychology test in under 10 minutes.

I was the first one finished, the first one who handed it in, and the first one to leave the room.

We had a full hour allotted to complete the test.

It felt really, really, REALLY good.

There were two questions on the test that I flinched over, not positive I had the right answers. I figure there might be two more that I didn’t realize were wrong. I’d be happy with a 70% mark, but I think I may have zipped past that.

AWESOME.

Tomorrow I have a test in my Group Process class. Actually, I believe it’s more a “quiz” than a test. But I’m going to curl up on the bed (in my jammas, yes!) and read the textbook a few times before dinner.

Then one test on Thursday, a paper to write for Monday, and I’m done with the big assignments for a bit.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

I feel 95% ready for my Developmental Psychology test tomorrow. It’s worth 20% of my mark!

The local grocery store now carries smoked maple salmon. I used to only be able to get it at Whole Foods whenever I went to visit Lena. Glad to have a local source!

Laundry is done, groceries are purchased and put away, I cleaned up some parts of the house, hemmed a pair of jeans (it’s my trial pair – and I had to shorten them by 2.5 inches! Yeeesh!) and have showered. Next I’ll do some more studying while I drink some coffee.

Middle One had a really good time at camp, likes his new Cub pack and I am really, really relieved.

Coffee got Middle One to camp safely last night. The weather looks great for camping and I’m glad Middle One got to go!

Playing with Maymo and his Bionicles for a bit yesterday. Even though he thinks I suck at playing his games – he was kind enough to ‘adapt’ the game for me. Ha!

Hopefully I’ll have time to hem some jeans today. And keep studying, of course.

I woke up with no headache – it’s becoming an awesome trend!

When I explained to Coffee that I don’t think I’m “alpha” he responded with, “And you’re going to go to school next week, pin down the people who said it, and demand to know why, aren’t you?” – and then we laughed and laughed. Because I totally DO want to do that.
