- I am not a single parent. I realize that if I were a single parent, I’d find a way to do it, but I’m pretty sure it would be the most miserable existence ever for the kids and myself.
- The entire house smells of cinnamon rolls. Our neighbour fixed a leaky spot on our chimney for us and asked only for “cinnamon rolls” and the cost of the ladder rental in return. Tonight he gets really warm cinnamon rolls!
- I’m on vacation! Tomorrow I have to go to school for about 20 minutes and THAT’S IT. YEAH!
- I am so incredibly glad that Coffee is my husband. :)
- Sparkly purple and blue lights on a shiny foil tree.. beautifully gaudy.

Can I say ditto to #1. Dave took Tornado Boy to an appointment on Wes and I picked up the little ones from day care (they’re in for two weeks while we adjust – they like it). 1 1/2 hours into the night, after I had been puked on twice, I called in my mom for reinforcements. Am so glad I’m not doing this alone.

As someone who does it alone, there are definitely miserable moments.
There are good times…which I cannot think of after having spent the day appalled at my child’s behaviour and complete lack of listening.
So tired. Send help!
