My mini schnauzer once managed to get herself onto the kitchen counter and eat 30 chocolate chip cookies. Thankfully, the cookies were from a mix, so the chips were of the 'chocolately' variation, so she survived.

But, a 20 lb dog eating 30 cookies? Do the math. I'm surprised she survived. Her belly was so distended that she couldn't squeeze herself under the couch, which is what clued us in to the missing cookies.

Why is it beagles think with their stomachs? A friend's beagle once ate a pound of sesame seeds. Another beagle I knew could open the fridge door and could eat anything he could reach.
