I cannot decide, in all seriousness, whether I was an abnormal child or whether my children are abnormal.

    What about the possibility that the standard for normal has changed? I think that some things that seemed totally normal when we were kids are now…not. But we still think they are because its who we are and when/how we grew up.

    Taking the usual definition of “normal”, we find that somewhat under 15% of the population qualify. So normal people are abnormal. That doesn’t answer your question, of course. :D
