- We ran a few errands, as a family, and everyone survived.
- JubJub went to the great lake in the sky.
- Hanging out. Just hanging around, doin’ nothing..
- Orange juice, scrambled eggs and toast!
- My husband.

Sylvain and Kelly have started blogging about the something-new they learn every day. To quote Sylvain, “The things that we learn, and the way that we learn them, and sometimes even from whom, are part of what makes us who we are. This exercise is intended to help me appreciate the little bits of knowledge that I have gained every day, and perhaps to recognize and appreciate the sources.”
I’m going to give this a try, too.
- Long weeeeeeeeeeekend!!!
- A group assignment made it in just under the wire last night. I am unhappy with that part, but very glad it was done!
- Another crafty thing that I want to try! (And, man, I love reading instructables.)
- Cinnamon hearts. Nom. :)
- Lots of The Sex.
- My order from CAYA arrived! (Link may be NSFW depending where you work..)
- 93% on my groups exam, 98% on my immigration paper, and 86% on my childcare-in-Sweden paper. YEAH!
- New underpants. It was TIME for new underpants.
- On the way to (and on the way home from) school every day, I get to see a lot of hawks sitting in trees patiently waiting for their breakfast/dinner to stroll by on the ground below. It often seems like every tree has at least one hawk in it.
- Soon my husband will come home and the long weekend will begin.Yay!
- Tomorrow there’s no school! YAY ME!
- Finding out today that tomorrow should be a good mail day.
- Laid-back, relaxed, funny and wonderful friends.
- Having a spare battery for my laptop in my backpack. And it was charged!
- Deciding to simply take charge and boss people around rather than losing my f’ing mind.
- The kitten (who is no longer a kitten) following me around like a little shadow, mewing. Hello! Hello!
- My voice recorder that does what it’s s’posed to do and does it well.
- Starting to process some of Middle One’s birthday pictures. Yay 10!
- Coffee’s confirmed observation that Maymo, at age 6, is the same height that Middle One was at 8. Whooboy.
- That my husband listens to me.
- We have a dishwasher. It’s small, it’s noisy, but it works. And this is not just a “small thing”, quite frankly, given how many dishes we go through in a typical day.
- There is light creeping into the bedroom in the morning when the alarm goes off!
- There is still daylight outside at 5pm!
- 3D porn. No, really.
- Next week is my Reading Week and oh, it will be heavenly.
- 84% on a paper that I wrote with a classmate. We worked well together, I think.
- My presentations today went well.
- The new heels I wore today did not make me wince and limp. Yay!
- Getting home a whole hour before I expected to be home. Huzzah for early jamma time!
- A truly ridiculous number of little tiny magnets – and the fact that I know Coffee is going to get really excited about playing with them. :)
- Today is a day of Good Food, apparently. (One highlight: homemade lasagna for dinner!)
- A ridiculous quantity of red cinnamon hearts. Yay!
- UFC!
- Realizing, lately, how nice it is to be me.
- Singing at the top of my lungs and dancing around the kitchen with my husband. :) (Maymo greatly enjoyed that!)
- The sunshine today was beautiful! SPRING WILL COME!
- Thanks to Coffee, I was able to spend most of the day in bed (with a migraine).
- My special ergonomic (ha!) pillow that supports my neck and makes migraines feel (somewhat) less horrible.
- Finding little bits of pink in my hair.
- My sugru arrived!
- Middle One’s birthday party was rowdy, crazy, wild and he had a really good time. I was completely and utterly exhausted at the end of it. Holy cats!
- Although I’ve just started to get to know her, it would appear that our neighbour (the mom of the kids who came over tonight) has many of the same parenting philosophies and values that we do. This is a really, really nice thing.
- I cleaned up a good chunk of the house today. I pretended it was all about Middle One’s birthday but it felt nice to get things tidy and somewhat less cluttery.
- No school today for me! Yay!
- Coffee came home and swooped right in on the party stuff, helping Middle One put Lego together, etc. He’s a good egg, my husband.
