Right now, over the past two weeks (give or take), I’ve had:

  • Migraines.
  • A pinched nerve in shoulder blade.
  • A stomach that is, uh, well, let’s just say that it’s not holding on to food for more than a few minutes.

For a migraine, the best thing in the world is to lie down and relax. But lying down, in any position other than flat on my back, leads to all the shoulder and neck muscles tightening up even more as a result of the pinched nerve.

The shoulder and neck stuff feels better when I am up and moving around, avoiding a few specific movements but otherwise in motion.

The upset stomach feels crappy when I am moving around a lot, and would prefer that I stay somewhat sedate.

What the actual hell, body? WHAT THE HELL. Get it together.
